Kernel Stack Trace when booting

Bug Description
When I updated to kernel 2.6.38-11, my computer no longer boots; instead it gives the attached stack trace (copied from kern.log).
When this happens, I do a hard reboot and select the old kernel, 2.6.38-10, in grub and everything works fine.
