Bug Description

I have a Dell XPS15 L502X laptop with an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 network card. I'm trying to use the Wi-Fi at "n" speed at 150Mbps or more but I haven't been able to achieve it.
In 10.04 there was a bug that is now considered "SOLVED" in http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1592846.html that creates the same result, n card is not working with n speeds, but I think that this is a different bug.

I can see that the iwlagn module is not enabling the n channel even that the iwconfig command report it as available because in dmesg the only channels reported are the a b and g channels. The max bit rate that the card can achieve is 54 Mb/s

Similar problem in connection with suspend / resume that causes this card/driver not to function at all.

My ubuntu 11.10 64bit, 3.0.0-16 kernel on Dell XPS L502x has strange problem with integrated Intel Wireless card (Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030 BGN, REV=0xB0) or iwlagn drivers. After suspend and resume network does not work on some routers. It works with old Fonera (serving b/g) but not with TP-Link TL-MR3420 (serving b/g/n or even b/g only with n disabled).

Trying to solve the iwlagn problem:
* rmmod / modprobe does not help
* reboot does not help
* syslog displays that I get IP address but then starts displaying errors Aggregation not enabled for tid 0 because load = ... see below; (these errors are not always displayed with this error condition, but never, when wifi works)
NB! Only thing that helps is booting to Windows (lucky me - kept the partition), using network, and booting back to Ubuntu.

Alain Bequer, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number>

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.
