Bug Description
In kernel 2.6.39, at least these two applications:
- Conky (acpitemp)
- Enlightenment temperature gadget
fail to find the output of the temperature sensor.
Conky 1.8.0 throws the following error:
"Conky: scandir for /proc/acpi/
The Enlightenment temperature gadget displays "N/A"
Reverting to kernel 2.6.35, those applications work OK, and the directory /proc/acpi/
There must be many applications that look for the the temperature sensor output in the "old" location, and will fail with the latest kernel. Wouldn't it be be more sensible to move the sensor output back to its previous location in /proc/acpi/
