Bug Description
I closed the lid on my macbook (6,2) and opened it 15 minutes later to be prompted with about 20 popup messages telling me the kernel experienced a serious error and to please report it. As I attempted to do so, Firefox opened, but then the screen froze completely and dropped to a shell, which was also unresponsive. It also had a mouse cursor on the screen which I found odd - was X running or not? I suspect a video driver glitch triggered this. After rebooting, this bug report was ready to submit. It's the next day now, but I'm hoping the attached info is still available.
This only happened once. It's slept without issue for me ten other times.

adding a comment to clarify that I believe THIS is a duplicate of bug #741464; not the other way around. Don't know if it matters, but it makes it clearer in my mind.
