Bug Description

I own a DSLink 260E and a Nvidia MCP61 Ethernet chip and I noticed a regression with natty in the quality of the DSL connection specifically with this combo in Ubuntu 11.04.

Sometimes, attempting to connect to an address (HTTP browser, apt-get update etc) will fail to do anything, as if the DNS server didn't respond. Although after establishing a connection to an IP it'll work in the usual speed it's meant to. ifconfig and router internal panel do not indicate any packet loss, albeit trying to ping a generic website (e.g. google) might indicate some package loss, sometimes even up to 20%.

It's worth noticing that this does not happen: in Ubuntu 10.10, Windows 7, using any cable Internet (i.e. no modem), so I perceive it as a regression that belongs to natty, despite not being able to track it to a module, or network-manager.
