Intel audio no longer works

Between -24 and -25, the Intel audio on my motherboard has ceased working. When I boot into 2.6.35-24-generic (2.6.35-24.42), audio output via S/PDIF works fine; when I boot into 2.6.32-25-generic (2.6.32-25.45), S/PDIF no longer works. I have not tested the analog output.
