Accepted into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

Is not some meta package supposed to pull in this new kernel in -proposed ? Or is it expected that new kernels in -proposed are installed “manually”, by specifying the kernel version directly ? I see the new kernel is available in the repo, but it does not get installed automatically.

There is a linux-meta source package in proposed now; it was uploaded shortly before you asked this question, but would only have become visible in the archive shortly afterwards.

We finished the Regression Testing on the Lucid proposed kernel and did not find any regression with it, as for us the kernel is good to go. The results of the LTP, Autotest, and qa-regression-testing are available at: http://people.canonical.com/~cerdea/kernel-sru/

Thanks all,

HW Certification have completed testing across 75 systems. 72 returned results and 3 were unable to due to infrastructure issues.
