volume up down
monitor out

doesn't work

manual operation from /proc doesn't work too.
In dapper proc forced acpi control worked. hotkeys control was partial but at least working

tried also to execute manually the script
panabright.sh up
or
panabright.sh down

in /etc/acpi/

result:

Actually nothing works in hardy too...
If there is some test I can do to solve this issue please let me know

Tried alpha6, acpi doesn't works. Need to install a special kernel
module to have it to work.
Same in hardy...

Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.

The pcc_acpi kernel module was no longer included due to acpi changes. There is comment to the effect it may be included in jaunty.
