I get the following error while using the rt2860sta module

ERROR!!! NICLoadFirmware failed, Status[=0x00000001]
!!! rt28xx Initialized fail !!!
NICLoadFirmware: MCU is not ready

Not only that but the whole system becomes very slow. Very VERY slow. If I do a rmmod rt2860sta everything starts to work as normal.
