Anyone else affected by this Dell 1536/1546 issue, please test the kernel patch at https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31602#c21 and attach the results and dmesg log there.

I believe you will only see the issue if you have at least 3GB of memory in your machine.
