2010-09-18 10:02:45 dysmann description When I wake up my computer after the "stand by" mode, I'm experiencing little display hangs about every second. When I read the output of dmesg, I can see plenty of lines like this one: [ 5180.581960] eth0: Too much work at interrupt, status=0x00ffffff. A new line like this appears for every hang. My workaround is to run: ifconfig eth0 down And the hang are not anymore. Then, if I run ifconfig eth0 up, the hang happen again. I'm running an updated Ubuntu 10.04 system, and here is my lspci output: 00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. K8M890CE Host Bridge 00:00.1 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc.
