Bug Description
Distribution: 10.10 beta updated 17-SEP-2010
Description: Kernel or kernel setting regression
System: Sony Vaio VPCEB15FX laptop.
Symptom: after upgrading and booting with kernel 2.6.35-21 or -22 there is no pointer and the touchpad does not seem to function.
I can hit the return key and type in password but once in the Desktop - nothing.
Rebooting (by shutting off the machine) and using 2.6.35-20 kernel version from grub and all my usage works perfectly.
Expected - mouse pad to work with pointer.
Actual - no pointer no click working.
