From quickly looking at that I am not really sure which usb device the card reader is supposed to be.

Hrm. Must have had the sd inserted when I initially filed the bug. It is Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0cf2:6230 ENE Technology, Inc.

Maybe one step further back. What exactly is the problem? The card reader appears but the sd card is not mounted? In that case could you boot without a card inserted, then insert one and add the output of dmesg and "lsudo lsusb -s 1:6 -v" to the report?

Attached. lsusb-noSD.txt is without the SD card inserted. dmesg is after "dmesg -c ; insert card ; wait 10 ; dmesg". lsusb-SD.txt iswith card, followed by lsusb -s 1:6 -v.

So there is nothing that we can do here really. Beside of maybe smacking Acer for using this hw. The problem here is that the USB device reports a vendor specific interface. Or in other words "we don't tell you". There is no information about the protocol or anything. So that is not "add support" but "create support" and thats out of the scope we can do.

I have a AOA 150 Acer Aspire ONE and the right flash card reader does not work. I am running Ubuntu 10.04LTS which uses GRUB2 and ext4 file system, 1.5GB RAM. I had the same problem with 9.04 and I was able to correct using the patch to the grub conf file. But now I am using GRUB2 and the patch did not work.

Any help for this problem?

The left SD card does work.

That is a completely different hardware (likely) and should go into another bug.
Though for an AOA110 (which imo is just the SSD version) it was a matter of
having a SD card in the right slot when booting.
