Bug Description

Hi,

I was testing Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 2 on my laptop and it fails the snr-002 test. Then I tried again the snr-001 and it didn't work too.

Rebooting and trying again (several times) show me that each suspend-to-ram attempt, after the first one, fails.

The screen became blank, as expected, but after few seconds come back to GNOME. It works properly in Ubuntu 10.04 and it works also in Maveric Alpha 1.

Bye

Hi Francesco,

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.
