usplash does not come up after dapper-edgy upgrade

Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash

Since dist-upgrade yesterday usplash does not come up, instead showing the normal boot messages.

usplash: 0.4.22
kernel: 2.6.17.5

Probably an upgrade-issue since usplash works on today's daily-live.

I couldn't say. I've reinstalled dapper. Somewhere over the next week I will upgrade my install and see what happens.
