Bug Description
Since upgrading from karmic to lucid I'm having problems with my wifi connection. I'm using a laptop with an intel 3945 wifi adapter. It connects without problems to open and encrypted (wpa or wep2) networks but loses connection after some time. In most cases this will happen when transfering data like downloading files or streaming media. Sometimtes I can reconnect via network-manager, sometimes I have to unload and load the kernel module (iwl3945) before it will reconnect to the network. The problem occurs with the current kernel 2.6.32-22-generic as well as with the two older versions 2.6.32-21-generic and 2.6.31-20-generic.

In the meantime I tried with the mainline-kernel 2.6.34-999-generic and so far it seems the problem doesn't exist here.
