Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Testing today's Lucid ISO in a live session and my fairly ordinary Intel HDA audio is not configured, so I get no audio at all. The speaker icon shows dashes, Sound Preferences show that no input devices are detected, and my laptop is silent. Tested audio after installing and audio is working as normal, so this looks like it only affects live sessions.

Looks like another process is stealing the soundcard, but that shouldn't happen with a standard Live-CD. What is the output of this terminal command?
sudo fuser -v /dev/dsp* /dev/snd/* /dev/seq*
