This bug is caused by the graphics driver. How reproducible is this bug? I suggest openning a bug upstream at bugs.freedesktop.org. When you do so, please report back with the bug url here so we can link the two bugs.

I believe this is a duplicate of bug #488328, which is fixed in 2.6.32-19. Please deduplicate this bug if you still encounter this issue on a 2.6.32-19 or later kernel.
