2010-02-17 23:37:58 Stefan Bader description Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24 Connecting Nikon D40 as usb storage device fails. The kernel throws first some errors: [ 253.279557] end_request: I/O error, dev sdb, sector 7959552 [ 253.279585] printk: 168 messages suppressed. [ 253.279593] Buffer I/O error on device sdb, logical block 7959552 This looks like http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191431 though it is supposed to have been fixed in 2.6.23 kernel. Works fine with karmic on Thinkpad T400s. If there are other low risk quirks related to cameras and usb-storage devices it would be good for us if we could get those as well. SRU Justification: Impact: A collection of low risk enablement patches for Hardy. Fix: Each of those fixes add a specific quirk or includes a wider range of versions to an existing quirk. --- Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24 Connecting Nikon D40 as usb storage device fails.
