Hello,

I run kubuntu karmic 9.10 on x86 64 and i have a error log about eCryptfs.

2010-01-15 00:12:35 ecryptfs_read_and_validate_header_region: Error reading header region; rc = [-22]

i can confirm this, after connecting to wifi hung my laptop (ThinkPad X200) I forced a shutdown (power button 4 sec), after booting again, at least two files became unavailable with the dmesg log:

[ 498.355741] Valid eCryptfs headers not found in file header region or xattr region
[ 498.355753] Either the lower file is not in a valid eCryptfs format, or the key could not be retrieved. Plaintext passthrough mode is not enabled; returning -EIO
