Warning after laptop went to sleep (suspended)

Bug Description
Closed the lid on my HP Pavilion dv7 2150ez, it went to sleep!
Opened the lid, the laptop is working but I had a warning saying the kernel might be unstable and I should reboot (which is kind of the opposite of what you want of a sleep option :(
The brightness of the screen was also reduced to the minimum...

Same here, on a Dell Latitude D620 with Core 2 (T2500) after a fresh Karmic install (CPU frequency scaling finally works!)
