Lucid wusb54gc doesn't work

Bug Description

This bug is almost the same as bug #446889, but it is still the case on lucid. Linksys Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter (wusb54gc) doesn't work out of hte box. It shows in lsusb and there is a wlan0, but iwconfig shoes the access point Not-Associated. ESSID set manually, but no help.

I'm actually going to mark this as a duplicate as bug 446889 as that bug will resolve the issue here. If and when a patch is applied it will be applied to the actively developed kernel (in this case Lucid at the moment). Please continue to track this issue at that report. Thanks.
