Bug Description

The sound system doesn't work properly after re-installation to 9.10.

The are many manifestation of it. Two example
- Very often especially after any sound related operation (i.e. volume change) sound is backing but strange noise similar to farts. I have to mute and unmute sound to stop it.
- The sound doesn't without special reason. I.e. Today: The sound in Firefox didn't work until I muted mysterious python plugin. I stopped to work again after the truck finished that time I had to unmuted it.

I'm using Sound Card
02:02.0 Multimedia audio controller: Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22/24/30 [CrystalClear SoundFusion Audio Accelerator] (rev 01)

and Microphone from USB Camera
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 046d:08d9 Logitech, Inc. QuickCam IM/Connect

Both had worked fine with few recent Ubuntu, OpenSuSE, Fedora.

I guess it pulse or driver issue.

Please use "apport-collect -p alsa-base 483932" in a Terminal.

Changed in pulseaudio:
status: New → Invalid
Changed in alsa-driver:
status: New → Invalid
affects: ubuntu → linux (Ubuntu)
Changed in linux (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → Daniel T Chen (crimsun)
status: New → Incomplete

I'm going to this today.

BTW. On more strange thing. Mutting Headsphone (i.e. in alsamixer) mutts the 'whole systems' (PCM and Master for sure).

Hi Daniel,

I've found two files with the ".asoundrc" in the name and I'm
attaching both of them. I've had to drop '.' from the names to send
them from the MacOSX box.
