Bug Description

All relevant things can be read from these three lines from dmesg:

[ 1.613292] PM: Resume from disk failed.
[...]
[ 1.948033] ata1: SATA link up 3.0 Gbps (SStatus 123 SControl 300)
[...]
[ 1.963739] sda: sda1 sda2 sda3

No wonder, when resume fails.

The whole disk containing the swap partition including hibernate image is still unknown when the powermanager tries to find it. Powermanager simply has to be more patient...

Maybe this bug is similar to or a part of bug #118199, cause the UUID of my swap partition has been definitely altered since installation. Unfortunately I tried the resume-thaw cycle first time after that change, so I cannot say if it did work before.

It's me again. Please read "resume-thaw cycle" in the last sentence as "hibernate-thaw cycle". Sorry.

Heiko,

Please, can you check with 2.6.32 kernel which is placed here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.32/ ?

Thanks
