entire op system locks (no mouse click or keybd response) upon clicking validate pswd in 'update manager' screen, to start downloading latest updates. hardware reset clears prob., OS doesnt like it! prob has repeated 3 times, w/abiword open only, w/firefox only, w/ desktop only (nothing open).

This & many other probs since upgrading(?) to 09-10. It is now impossible download updates/corrections.
I must return to ver. 09-04, & wait for your dust to settle. I will miss the good audio/video.
