Bug Description

I do have two ubuntu partitions, last week I ugraded the first one to 9-10 all went well!
Mext I did the same with the second system it went wel and askes for a restart, so, I did !
then in the upstart menu I choose the normal startup procedure for the second system, it started off ok then stopped saying it could not mount and after giving in ëxit"I got out and treid again, same thing happened.
From the first system that works fine I can get to the other partitions but connot open my mail cannot find my adressbook and old mail with a lot of info!!
Is it possible to manually adjust grub/MBR to get the system started properly again or is all lost!?
With kind regards ,
Jaap Lammerse

Hi j.lammerse,

The warning reported here, "WARNING: ECC is NOT currently enabled by the BIOS. Module will NOT be loaded." looks to be a duplicate of bug 422536 so I am marking it as such. Please continue to track this issue at that report. Note that this is just a harmless warning. If you are experiencing any other issues you thought were related to this, please open a new bug by running 'ubuntu-bug linux' from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). Thanks.
