Hi TravisJavier,

The warning reported here typically indicates that it took longer for your system to resume from suspend than expected. I believe there is a 5 sec barrier which your system likely exceeded. Typically you'll see something similar to "PM: resume devices took 8.664 seconds" in your dmesg output when this happens. A patch to prevent this warning has been applied via bug 464552. As a result I'm marking this as a duplicate to bug 464552. Please continue to track this issue at that report. Thanks!

I installed 9.10 a few weeks ago on my friend's old PC, which also runs on Vista. It is an Acer Aspire M1610 connected to Virgin Media cable broadband via a Netgear Voyager router. We can access the internet, but only certain sites: Google search, Mail, Calender etc, BBC (some parts). However, although the search produces results, we can rarely access anything else, like actual websites. I have connected my own laptop (a MiNote) using both cable and wireless and it works fine (the Ubuntu setup was from the same Live CD). I have reinstalled now three times with the same results on the Acer, which has no problems accessing the net in Vista. Does anyone know of any issues with Acer Aspires and Ubuntu or have any idea what the problem might be?
