Bug Description

I clicked on the shutdown ("Eteindre" in french) menu entry at the top right.

The computer seemed to shutdown quickly (no progress splash).

How do you want to have more persons coming to Ubuntu if it just crashed.

Please keep Ubuntu stable otherwise I think I will buy Windows 7.
