[LENOVO 40612JG] suspend/resume failure (thinkpad W500)

Bug Description
The resume stopped after the password mask for unlocking the workstation was displayed. The Moon LED was blinking and the macine not reacting.

The hibbernat works for me as long as the AC power is plugged in both while going to and coming from hibbernate. But if i am running on battery at any of the events the macine freezes right after the Password mask for unlocking the workstation is avaliable.
Found no other way than do a hard reset. Was not able to switch to a text console or restart X.
