Bug Description

I was testing suspend on a newly installed Karmic Koala RC install (amd64). Suspending itself worked fine. While resuming, however, the monitor switched between displaying a blank screen to detecting no input. This happened several times, after which, the system seemed to resume very slowly (with some nonsense graphics appearing, like a red mesh in the corner of the screen), with the cursor appearing, unresponsive at first, then slow to respond, then finally the login from resume screen appeared. The resume completed after about five minutes, along with a crash report.
