Bug Description
#1 without " echo shutdown > /sys/power/disk" HIBERNATE hangs requiring a power-off.
This is easily fixed, othrwise "platform" is indicated: ?? what does this mean ?? I cannot find doc. SHOULD USERS BE WARNED?
#2 Due to previous problems with Karmic I had to do several fsck's and mkswap's to get functional, thus UUID is out of sync with swap. Looking at /dev/disk/
I thought I reinstalled kernel after mkswap which should have reset UUID stored in initrd.img (I think).
In any event: WHAT IS FOUND IN /etc/fstab SHOULD BE USED AS IS for swap (LABEL=
ALSO: SUSPEND:
On this Lenovo-Y530 I cannot get SUSPEND to work (it hangs after several seconds, requiring a power-off) using: EasyPeasy, Debian, Ubuntu Karmic/Jaunty or even SUSE. I tried many different ways. Fortunately Hibernation generally works well.
ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous hibernate and prevented it from resuming properly.
