Kernel Crashes after update

Bug Description

After installation of the latest Kernel version, there is a symbol in the applet bar which says the Kernel crashed on me and the system may be unstable. Reboot necessary, but a reboot doesn't cure it, symbol reappears.

Hi Overboost,

The warning reported here typically indicates that it took longer for your system to resume from suspend than expected. I believe there is a 5 sec barrier which your system likely exceeded. Typically you'll see something similar to "PM: resume devices took 8.664 seconds" in your dmesg output when this happens. I'm setting this to traiged for further investigation. Thanks!

in fact my Thinkpad T43 is close:
PM: resume devices took 5.076 seconds
Now the Koala just needs to relax and keep cool for another second...
