Brian,

Although bug 441339 does include the ACPI message, it does not make any mention of the following messages that I see:

fsck from util-linux-ng 2.16
fsck from util-linux-ng 2.16
/dev/sda5: clean
/dev/sda6: clean

* Setting preliminary keymap...
* Starting apparmor profiles
* Setting up console font and keymap...
* Starting OpenBSD Secure Shell server sshd

I do not understand why this bug should be marked duplicate.

I agree that this is not a duplicate of Bug #441339.

According to the discussion of Bug #197267, there are two acceptable settings for PBLK Length, 0 and 6.

If this is correct, then "Invalid PBLK Length [5]" and "Invalid PBLK Length [0]" are two distinctly different problems, as [5] really is invalid, while [0] is not.

The duplicate status of this bug should be removed. Additionally, Bug #441339 should be marked as "Won't fix" in accordance with the findings of Bug #197267.
