Bug Description

Hello,

This installation is a 32 bit Karmic 9.10 on Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Li 1718 laptop.
The laptop has Atheros AR5001 wireless network adapter.
It worked very well and out-of-the-box in Karmic 9.10 alpha2/3, but stopped working in the latest 2.6.31-11 kernel.

The network-manager's "Enable Wireless" option is disabled and the wireless list is completly empty.

System information:

I have previously used the following guide to make it work in Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty).
http://futuredesktop.org/jaunty/amilo_1718_wireless_in_linux.txt
Though, haven't tried it on Karmic yet.

Notice.
The attached log files are not valid for this bug because I had to write/report this error from another PC and "ubuntu-bug" collected/attached the info from it.

I would LOVE to see a fix for this imminently - I have tried upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 and am now getting the exact same output from those commands(no really, EXACT)...what is weird is that my card was working from the Live CD, but not after the install...
