Bug Description

On my HP 2140 netbook i can not use the key combination fn + F2
for switching the display to the external vga port.
Other key's are working like brightness (F3, F4) & volume (F8, F10, F11).

I know that it is possible to configure this by using the display configuration menu,
but it takes too long, instead of this key combination.

With the new release of ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix it is working, i can switch to external display, external and laptop display and at the end only to laptop display. BUT their is still a problem with switching to the external monitor...

I tested only 9.10 netbook remix! When i switch to the external monitor, the resulution of the display are detected automatically, but the menu and all icons are gone; nothing to click. A problem withwindow-picker-applet 0.5.8?
