hi, i'm running 2.6.31-12.41 on an eeepc 1005ha. with network-manager I get a lot of the bogus roaming from bug #291760. If I switch to wicd, which doesn't roam automatically, I get the disassociation/association problem:
Oct 8 13:40:03 bluesy kernel: [ 543.544154] wlan0: no probe response from AP 00:1a:1e:1e:d2:40 - disassociating
Oct 8 13:40:03 bluesy kernel: [ 543.565826] ath9k: DMA failed to stop in 10 ms AR_CR=0x00000024 AR_DIAG_SW=0x00000020
What I've just seen is:
1) Load the module and connect
2) Under heavy traffic (branching a large bzr tree over ssh) I get 2-3 disassociations over a minute or two
3) After this the disassociations stop, but the network performance is lousy (about 10% packet loss)
This is on an academic network with hundreds or thousands of different APs, but I've been in the same room for the last few hours.
