2006-04-24 13:07:16 Sun Seng David TAN description Hi there, I have a bug with the kernel since the 2.6.15-20-386 one (2.6.15-20 and 2.6.15-21) the system wont boot when i load the system (2.6.15-21) it shows : Booting 'Ubuntu, kernel 2.6.15-21-386' root (hd1,1) Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x03 kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-21-386 root=/dev/sda2 ro quiet splash [Linux-bzImage, setup=0x1c00, size0x157b11] initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.15-21-386 [Linux-initrd @ 0x1b8a1000, 0x63ed66 bytes] savedefault boot Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel [4294660.116000] .. MP-BIOS bug : 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC [4294668.126000] PCI : Cannot allocate resource region 3 of device 0000:00:00.0 [4294668.126000] PCI : Cannot allocate resource region 0 of device 0000:02:00.0 Then it stops booting.
