Bug Description
As was suggested by Leann Ogasawara on bug 105247, I am filing a new bug to resolve the issue I am having with my wifi card, as that bug has been closed for non-responsiveness of the reporter.
I own a TRENDnet TEW-221PC, and I'm told it is supported by the ADM8211 wifi driver, however, the card is not working for me out-of-the-box, and I was told at one point in the past that it should. I believe that was when Ubuntu picked up the adm8211 kernel drivers.
I'm currently running Jaunty Jackalope, and I suspect the PCMCIA card because my USB adapter seems to work fine between the same computer and access point.
The activity light blinks, but I don't seem to get a link indication, and the network manager doesn't seem to indicate a wireless network.
There were some diagnostic steps mentioned on bug 105247, and I believe I can do those if it is relevant, but I am mostly available on weekends. Please bear with me.
Thanks!

I tried using the apport-collect process described at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/KernelTeam/ KernelTeamBugPo licies, however, it said I needed to allow "Update Anything" permissions, which is unacceptable.
I plan to attach the commandlines listed there after a reboot.
