Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-image-
When dual-core support is enabled in the netbook's BIOS, an HP-2140 fails to boot. (When the machine boots Windows with dual-core support enabled, hyperthreading is available to present 2 CPUs)
There's many lines of kernel output. I can't grab the first ones (they scroll off the screen), but the ones on the screen (excluding the hex codes except for the last couple) are:
clockevents_
tick_dev_
tick_program_
hrtimer_
enqueue_

getnstimeofday+
lapic_next_

pci=noacpi doesn't help
acpi=off gets the system booting, but then it a) doesn't see the hyperthreading, and b) X locks with a black screen.
