This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest Karmic 9.10 release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If the issue remains, could you run the following command from a
Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) while running Karmic. It
will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report.

apport-collect -p linux 373021

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Sorry, I have returned this laptop - I had not anticipated it might
take close to 8 months for any suggestions to come forth on ways to
debug this.

I can not help further with this bug. You may wish to close it.

Regards,
Anand
