Wireless card started working again, and I now have wireless network connectivity. HOWEVER, an attempt to suspend the system caused the original problem to come back, and Deactivating/re-Activating the driver did NOT fix it. After a reboot, I did NOT have to Deactivate/re-Activate, after system restart network card was working OK. But after any attempt to Suspend, the Suspend fails (I think this is a known issue), and the card is deactivated, but even an attempt to Deactivate/re-Activate fails to bring card back online. Only after a reboot does it come back.
