Hi Taylor,

It looks like you were running the 2.6.30-020630rc2 upstream vanilla kernel when the oops happened. Have you seen this with the stock Ubuntu 2.6.28-11-generic kernel? Thanks.

I had similar problem today, but I have installed kubuntu-desktop on my ubuntu, and I were using kwin when the bug happened.
kwin suddenly started crashing, and restarting kdm didn't change anything. when I restarted the computer and logged in my gnome desktop, I got the above massages.
I use kernel 2.6.31-14.48

I upgraded kernel to 2.6.31-15 version (available in karmic repositories) and the problem seems to be fixed.
