The warning is sometimes harmless, but can indicate something is resuming too slowly. It can be a problem in the nvidia kernel module. Can you please attach the full log with the warning?

I'm not sure which log you want, so I'm trying with the syslog.

So the warning is just the > 5s resume. The hang must be something else. Does the hang happen often?

No, that was the first time in a while. I used to have similar trouble all the time with the free nvidia driver resuming from suspend and hibernation, but that went away when I switched to the proprietary driver.

Hi Guys,

I'd consider the warning to be a duplicate of bug 287453.

As Tormod mentioned it's just a warning. The issue of the machine hanging is likely a separate issue. You mentioned the hang doesn't happen often and thus not highly reproducible. Let continue to monitor this into the Karmic development cycle.
