Could you provide more information in your report please?

I.e I take it your running Gnome, but how many items are in the wastebasket? Can you delete files individually or does that freeze the system?

Are there any other symptoms you can think of?

Is this the Live CD or an install?

Please update with more information (you can never have enough info).
