I set up my machine to suspend and went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning the machine would not wake up.

Had the same issue as well (when using BIOS version 1.1.4) and the following configuration:

Updated by BIOS version 1.1.11 and the problem was fixed

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version, this would help us a lot.
