Bug Description
Updating the system resulted in an installation of a generic kernel, which failed. It was added in grub, but can't boot of course, because it was not installed. I conclude that adding the option to start with the new kernel was added to grub before it actually tried to install it on the system. Shouldn't it be the other way round?

Title: package linux-image-
Hi bartje,
I see the following in your DpkgTerminalLog which seems to indicate this is a duplicate of bug 292159:
"update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd. img-2.6. 28-11-generic img-2.6. 28-11-generic to initrd.img. 2.6.28- 11-generic (--configure):
Failed to symbolic-link boot/initrd.
dpkg: fout bij afhandelen van linux-image-
subproces post-installation script gaf een foutwaarde 17 terug"
Bug 292159 was actually a bug in casper but should be fixed as of casper version 1.162. Please be sure you've got this newer version installed. For now I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 292159. Thanks.
