Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez

My computer's bluetooth adapter is not being detected. My computer has BCM43XX wifi adapter but i am not sure what's the type of bluetooth adapter. Computer Model : V3413AU ; Computer Series : Compaq Presario V3000

Please disregard my last comment, rather please post the output of:

cat /proc/driver/nvidia/version/

You have a segfault on the bluetooth anaylser and I have seen a Gentoo bug report in which the NVIDIA 180 driver may have been causing a problem.

when i was using Intrepid, I have experienced the same problem. i believed
the previous version is having the same problem too....

Also, did you try activating the bluetooth function on the keyboard & are you sure this laptop has bluetooth?

I am sure my laptop has bluetooth and my bluetooth module is from Broadcom.
While I was using Ubuntu 8.04, I can use it pretty well. Since I installed
the previous Ubuntu 8.10, I can't use it anymore....
