I think I'm getting this bug (although I'm told that kernel bugs with similar symptoms are often very different). http://static.mumak.net/syslog-from-disconnect.log has the syslog.

As another poster commented, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=493018 looks similar, and claims to be fixed.

If someone's willing to do a little bit of hand-holding, I'd be happy to test this on my laptop.
