euh, dunno, like i get this crash report every time i boot since i did a fresh install
and i post it most of the times, since it say me to do so.

i could try a fresh install (in the same way/net install from local mirror) on my other system partition.
It has got my previous install (jaunty from dvd), but i use this one most of the time.

Care to test and confirm if this issue remains with the latest Karmic 9.10 Alpha development release of Ubuntu. ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . Please let us know your results. Thanks!

i used karmic through out most of the development cycle on 2 different medium-high end pcs.
And aside from plasma and firefox doing strange now and them all seems fine.
Oh yes, the im clients tend to crash (i use msn, gtalk and facebookchat), nothing serious but i've seen it happen with pidgin, kopete and empathy.
Maybe i just need a fresh install, my buntu's been running since alpha :-)
