Bug Description
I am currently testing daily-live image 20080225 (amd64) and it seems as if sound doesn't work at all on my system.
If I open the mixer applet, there are only two devices with one master channel avaiable: Playback/Capture Null Output (PulseAudio), see attached screenshot.
If I try to run alsamixer, it fails with the following output:
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory
I did install pavucontrol (to set the default sound card since I have two), and it's ouput looks quite similar to the one from the mixer applet (another screenshot).
If I can provide any additional informations please let me know.
Kind regards,
Jan
